The Commonwealth v Walshe pre-trial conference scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 23, in Norfolk Superior Court has been continued to Nov. 2 at 2 p.m., according to an email from the Office of Norfolk District Attorney Michael W. Morrissey.

This case relates to Cohasset resident Brian Walshe, who is accused of murdering his wife, Ana, following an intensive investigation by the Cohasset Police Department and the Massachusetts State Police after she disappeared in the early morning hours of Jan. 2, 2023.

Walshe continues  to be held without bail following an arraignment April 27 in Norfolk Superior Court in Dedham.

The email also shared details of police activity that occurred in Peabody, Mass., yesterday and today (Aug. 21 and 22) related to the Brian Walshe case: “Two persons in the Peabody community unconnected to the prosecution of Brian Walshe contacted police investigators with their belief that an area of that community may be of investigative interest in that matter. A search of that area by the Massachusetts State Police SERT [Special Emergency Response] Team and Norfolk SPDU [State Police Detective Unit] detectives yielded nothing. It is now concluded.”
